• Pallets in this system are stored in the channels (tunnels) with slope toward the beginning of the tunnel.
• All pallets at a given level, except for the last, are placed on a set of rail carts pushed to the opposite end of the tunnel
• LIFO storage system - last in, first out
• Allows storage up to 4-5 pallets in the tunnel
